Dubai Air Show 2015 gears up for increased momentum

As per recent research, it is reported that aviation will contribute US$53.1 billion to Dubai’s economy alone, 37.5% to its GDP and the industry will support over 750,000 jobs by 2020. Subsequently, it is also reported that the first ten flights of the Residence by Etihad has been sold out.
With this optimistic growth, the region is gearing up for major aviation shows such as the Dubai Air Show scheduled for 8-12 November 2015 along with the on-going Middle East Business Aviation (MEBA) at Dubai World Central.
The show is witnessing increased interest from several returning exhibitors such as Boeing and Airbus as well as Bell Helicopters, Alpha Star and Tawazan increasing their footprints for 2015.
The show will once again feature country pavilions, including Australia, Canada, France, Turkey, the UK and the US Pavilion. There will also be a range of platforms to discuss key issues or aspects of the industry, such as Gulf Aviation Training Event (GATE).
