Dusit International has unveiled plans to open its first hotel in the Chinese city of Suzhou.
The Thai hotel group’s Chinese subsidiary, Dusit Fudu, has signed a management agreement for the new Dusit Thani Wellness Resort Suzhou SND. Scheduled to open in the last quarter of 2018, the 250-room property will be located within the new Suzhou National Hi-Tech District, which is home to multiple international companies.
As a wellness resort, the new property will feature more than 30 indoor and outdoor natural hot springs pools, oxygen rooms, infrared cabins, salt saunas, and a Devarana Spa with six treatment rooms.
Other facilities at the resort will include three F&B outlets, mahjong rooms, a gym, kids’ club, beauty salon and boutique, plus four meeting rooms and a 400m² ballroom.

We believe that the Dusit Thani Wellness Resort Suzhou SND… will set a benchmark in service, quality and excellence in the local hospitality industry,” said Lim Boon Kwee, president of Dusit Fudu.
Dusit currently operates three hotels in China and has more than 20 in the pipeline.
