Also joining easyJet’s route network from the airport is the Greek island of Rhodes and French surf favourite, Biarritz.

Neil Slaven, commercial manager at easyJet, said: “We have seen increasing passenger numbers and demand year on year at London Luton Airport. We will continue to invest and develop Luton as an important London airport for both business and leisure travellers. The addition of Stockholm is great news, offering our passengers a new country to explore, whilst we expect Rhodes and Biarritz to become firm summer favourites.

“The three new routes on sale today further bolster our summer destinations on offer to customers in the region.”
