Gray Dawes releases eco-white paper
TMC and expense management company Gray Dawes has produced a white paper with tips to introduce eco-friendly practices into businesses. The paper, named ‘Tackling the Green Issue Together’ includes advice on travelling to work and changes to the work environment that companies could put into place, as well as how to measure their carbon footprint. New green division at KBC
KBC PR & Marketing has launched a green division of its company to promote its clients’ sustainability initiatives. The new division, named KBC Green, will work with Rachel McCaffery from Green Case Consultancy to devise campaigns with green messages. “We want to show destinations, hotel groups and tourism businesses that small changes can make a real difference and that there are true benefits, environmentally, socially, and also economically, in making those changes for good,” said Helena Beard, marketing director at KBC. “Through KBC Green, we will be bring responsible tourism into the overall marketing strategy for many of our clients in a really effective and credible way”.
UIA teams with Amadeus for project
Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has teamed up with Amadeus of give computers to unprivileged children in Odessa. The 20 computers were accompanied by 20 Amadeus online booking system certificates to graduates in foster homes, therefore setting up a job opportunity. The two companies worked with UAC Ukraine Fund on the project, which it hopes will not only offer a future for some children but help develop tourism in Odessa.
