Carnival Freedom will feature the first Bookville area as part of a multi-million dollar revamp this spring, Carnival has revealed.
The ship will include all the recently-launched Seuss at Sea initiatives as well as new dining and activities including Guy’s Burger Joint, EA SPORTS Bar, Alchemy Bar and Hasbro, The Game Show.
The ship will go into dry dock in Freeport, the Bahamas from 19 April to 3 May with Bookville scheduled to be completed by the 24 May departure.
Its popular Caribbean schedule from Fort Lauderdale will resume with two new five-day options.
“With the debut of the first-ever Dr. Seuss Bookville area, along with an array of exciting dining, bar and entertainment concepts, we’re making a terrific ‘Fun Ship’ even better and creating a lifetime of wonderful vacation memories for guests of all ages. Incorporating these fantastic new spaces on Carnival Freedom also provides travel agents with yet another attractive ‘Fun Ship’ vacation option to market to their clients,” said Gerry Cahill, president and CEO at Carnival.
