China Southern Airlines will launch the first ever scheduled flights connecting Shenyang with Phuket this month.

Commencing on 18 December 2014, the airline will operate three weekly flights from the capital of northeast China’s Liaoning province to Phuket, Thailand’s largest and most popular resort island. The flights will include a stop in Wuhan, the capital of central China’s Hubei province.

Services will depart Shenyang’s Taoxian International Airport every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 2140, arriving at Phuket International Airport at 0610 the next morning. The return flights will then take off from Phuket at 0710 and get back to Shenyang at 1515.

China Southern will serve the route using a three-class, 152-seat Airbus A320 aircraft offering eight seats in first class, 24 in business class and 120 in economy.

The Phuket service becomes China Southern’s second international service from Shenyang, following its existing daily flights to Singapore.
