Rail Europe has a store in London’s Piccadilly

Rail Europe has been forced to close its London Travel Centre after flooding caused damage to the shop.

The company told Travel Daily it does not yet know the cause of the flooding but an investigation and clear-up is underway.

The Piccadilly store is expected to reopen soon with updates to be posted through its Twitter and Facebook pages.

“Sadly, damage to our London Travel Centre is worse than originally thought, so we won’t be able to open today. Sorry for the inconvenience,” the company tweeted.
