Flybe will this weekend operate 146 flights to fly supporters to and from five English airports to Edinburgh to watch Scotland play England in the 2016 Six Nations rugby tournament.
Flights from London City Airport, Liverpool, Birmingham, East Midlands and Southampton to Edinburgh have all proved extremely popular and are 12% busier than on a normal ‘non-match’ weekend, the airline said.
Flybe’s UK regional route network offers rugby fans a choice of direct flights for match travel to venues throughout the Six Nations tournament, servicing five of the six host cities.
