Funway Holidays will launch its 2018 Orlando brochure next week.

The tailor-made US and Caribbean specialist has reported Orlando bookings for 2017 are holding up year on year with it remaining the operator’s best-selling destination in the USA.

“There are new hotel openings planned in 2018 as well as new attractions at Orlando’s theme parks, so even repeat visitors will find something new for their holiday next year.  We are particularly excited about the opening of the new ride – ‘Fast & Furious-Supercharged’ and Aventura hotel at Universal next August 2018″, said Malcolm Davies, destination product manager for Funway Holidays.

He added: “Our flexibility and tailor-made approach will ensure our Travel Agent partners always have the newest hotels and attractions available to book.”

To cater for the increased popularity, the new 100-page brochure features the region’s world-famous holiday hot-spots, from Orlando and the Gulf Coast to Miami and the Florida Keys and also:

New accommodation boost including four new properties:

–           Orange Tree community self-catering villas in Orlando.

–           The Enclave Suites in Orlando, a popular property with British

travellers and very budget-friendly for families.

–           The Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa – another family

property located near International Drive and featuring a ‘Pirates Plunge’ swimming pool.

–           Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort located

next to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Resort and featuring a 1200ft lazy river and a 80 acre lake.

The brochure will also include the following new itinerary:

A 10-day fly drive itinerary combining 4 nights in Orlando and three nights both in Daytona Beach and Miami. Prices £1169 per person including accommodation, return flights from London and car hire.

Prices in the brochure start from £579 per person including seven nights in Orlando staying in a Disney Area 3 Bedroom Standard Villa including return flights from London with Virgin Atlantic.  Travel based on February 2018 and six adults sharing.

To encourage agents to sell more of the programme the Funway Sales Team will be on the road throughout January, offering ‘refresher’ training sessions highlighting the new hotels and features in the Orlando brochure.
