GBTA announces new board members
The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA)—the voice of the global business travel industry, announced two new members have joined GBTA’s WINiT strategic advisory board – Alison Taylor, senior vice president of global sales and distribution at American Airlines and Patricia Huska, chief people officer at American Express Global Business Travel.
“GBTA is committed to supporting diversity and inclusion in the travel industry through meaningful educational programming, networking and recognition opportunities that are focused on the career advancement of women,” said Scott Solombrino, executive director and COO of GBTA.
The WINiT advisory board will be hosting its inaugural WINiT Gala, being held in New York City on 7 November 2019. In addition to the Gala, it is holding the first WINiT Gala 2019 Awards. The goal of the inaugural WINiT Awards is to recognise the women, men and companies, who together are driving positive change for the career mobility of women in the travel-related industries.
The advisory board provides strategic guidance and direction for the future of WINiT as a GBTA board of directors’ initiative.
