GoAir, the Mumbai-based low-cost carrier, will launch a series of new flights from Hyderabad next month.

The airline said in a statement that it will start linking Telangana’s state capital with Chennai, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar and Kolkata.

It will also start flying from Hyderabad to Port Blair, the capital of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, via Bengaluru.

“Hyderabad is a key market in south and central India and a significant base for business and tourism in the region. Adding Hyderabad with its ideal geographical location, we reinforce our commitments towards connectivity across the country,” said GoAir’s CEO, Wolfgang Prock-Schaeur.

The new routes will be operated using GoAir’s fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft. Tickets for the new flights are already on sale.
