The Guild of Travel Management Companies (GMTC) has announced the programme for its autumn conference, which will be held in late October at the Park Lane Hotel.

The conference will have Baroness Susan Greenfield CBE as its keynote speaker and also include a talk headlined by Kaye Ceille managing director of Avis Budget UK.

The theme of the conference, which will be ‘Are We Ready…Continued’ is an extension to the ‘Are We Ready’ conference which was held at the overseas conference earlier this year in Barcelona.

Conference sponsors Avis Budget UK will address delegates on the future of mobility, while also touching on HS2and the importance of hospitality to the UK economy.

Greenfield will be controlling the afternoon session, which will focus on ‘The importance of people in tomorrow’s world’ using her scientific background to explain the impact of modern technology on the brain.
