Hainan Airlines has introduced its Boeing 787 Dreamliner to another domestic Chinese destination – Dalian.
The aircraft made its debut on the route on Monday, and it will now operate twice weekly flights to the port city in northwest China’s Liaoning province, direct from Beijing.
The Dreamliner flights will operate every Monday and Friday, departing Beijing’s Capital International Airport at 0900, arriving at Dalian’s Zhoushuizi International Airport at 1010. The return service then departs Dalian at 1225, getting back into Beijing at 1350.
Hainan Airlines configures its Dreamliners with 213 seats in two classes, including 36 flat bed seats in business class.
Since introducing the B787-8 into its fleet last summer, Hainan Airlines has deployed the aircraft to a range of domestic destinations including Shanghai, Haikou, Hangzhou, Changsha, Sanya, Kunming and Chengdu.
It also recently launched the aircraft on trans-Pacific routes from Beijing to Chicago, with Seattle and Toronto services due to commence later this year.
