Hainan Airlines expands FFP with Points.com partnership

Hainan Airlines has partnered with loyalty point platform Points.com to offer more redemption options for members of its Fortune Wings Club frequent flier programme.
As a result of the tie-up, Fortune Wings Club members can now exchange their miles for those of other global airlines and hotel groups.
In addition, the Chinese carrier has rolled out two more FFP services, including Exchange, which allows frequent fliers to buy additional miles, and Buy & Gift, which allows members to redeem miles for other products and services.
“The roll-out of this new service is aimed at aligning with… other airlines and hotels and serving the interests of members through more diversified, rapid, flexible and efficient mileage sales and redemption of miles,” said Hainan Airlines product director Yuan Huifang.
Points.com was founded in 2000 has now has more than 50 major partners around the world, including IHG, Asia Miles, JetBlue and Virgin Atlantic.
