Hilton’s Hampton by Hilton brand has unveiled its newest property, Hampton by Hilton Bristol Airport on the doorstep of England’s third largest regional airport.
The 201-room hotel, the first to be based at the airport, is located 250 metres from the terminal.
“More than seven and a half million passengers pass through the doors of Bristol Airport every year, and we’re now offering travellers a convenient and great value accommodation option on its doorstep,” said Simon Vincent, executive vice president and president, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Hilton. “This opening also marks an important landmark for us as one of the first hotels in our portfolio globally to be completed using an innovative modular construction technique – paving the way for further expansion in the UK and internationally.”
Hampton by Hilton’s signature free, hot breakfast is included with every stay, and a 24-hour convenience hub with a selection of snacks and drinks for purchase is available to all guests. The hotel is also a great accommodation option for business travellers, offering complimentary Wi-Fi, two meeting rooms, a 24-hour fitness centre with contemporary cardio, resistance and weights equipment and a business centre. Guests with long airport layovers can take advantage of the hotel’s day-rate option, starting from just £70.
“Hampton by Hilton Bristol Airport is our 50th Hampton property in Europe, Middle East and Africa, and marks our expansion in the region,” said Phil Cordell, global head, focused service and Hampton by Hilton brand management. “We look forward to offering guests a relaxing and convenient place to stay, just steps away from Bristol Airport’s main terminal.”
Robert Sinclair, CEO, Bristol Airport said: “We are delighted to welcome the world-renowned Hampton by Hilton brand to Bristol Airport. The opening of a first on-site hotel is another statement of our ambition to be a world class regional airport serving the South West of the UK.”
