Car hire company Hertz has moved into the maritime sector with the launch of ‘Hertz Rent a Boat’.
Launched in the Netherlands in partnership with Boot Amsterdam BV, the new boat rental service will enable customers to explore the waterways of Amsterdam using a variety of vessels, including gondolas, luxury motorboats, taxi boats and open boats, accommodating up to 35 people. Priced are charged by the hour.

Large boats will offer a range of amenities such as kitchens, bars, audio systems, toilets and electricity. Renters also have the option of a private chef, barbeques or catering services.
