Hilton announced have that it has been named one of Greater China’s Best Companies to Work For by global research and consulting firm, the Great Place to Work Institute. This is the third consecutive year Hilton has received the award, which underscores the company’s exceptional workplace culture, and once again sees Hilton as the highest ranked hospitality company.

With more than 400 hotels already open and under development in China, the company recently announced its ambition for 1,000 properties by 2025. Hilton is creating hundreds of thousands of new jobs in China, as it seeks to recruit and train the next generation of hospitality professionals.

“As a fast-growing business in China, we are committed to creating a great workplace and meaningful opportunities for our highly-valued team members,” said Qian Jin (above), president of Greater China and Mongolia for Hilton. “It is our team members’ hard work, passion and commitment that bring Hilton’s achievements to life. We strive to provide a great working environment and career development for our team members to help them feel passionate and proud of their work.”

The Great Place to Work Institute identifies and acknowledges the world’s best workplaces through an employee survey and an in-depth questionnaire about company practices and programs. The selection process includes a Trust Index Survey for employees and a Culture Audit Management Questionnaire for senior management. The institute then uses its unique methodology to evaluate companies based on five dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie. The 2017 survey reflects opinions from more than 217,000 employees from 145 transnational organizations in Greater China.
