Hilton Worldwide has celebrated the official launch of its first DoubleTree hotel in Indonesia.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta – Diponegoro is a new upscale hotel located 4km from the centre of the Indonesian capital, offering 253 rooms and suites.
The hotel offers three F&B venues, including a restaurant, lounge and pool bar, as well as a 24-hour fitness centre, swimming pool, kids’ pool, and three spa treatment rooms.
There is also 1,400m² of event space, including seven function rooms and the Makara Ballroom, plus a 24-hour business centre.
The hotel officially launched on 18 June with a reception attended by more than 350 people, including dignitaries from the Italian, Australian, Austrian and Belgian embassies.
“We are delighted to mark the official opening of our first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Indonesia here in the metropolitan city of Jakarta,” said William Costley, Hilton’s vice president of operations for Southeast Asia.
“DoubleTree by Hilton is currently our fastest growing full-service brand, with a portfolio of over 370 upscale hotels in gateway cities, metropolitan areas and destinations across six continents, which is a perfect fit for this equally fast-paced and vibrant city.”
DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta – Diponegoro becomes the brand’s fifth opening in Southeast Asia, following existing properties in Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Bangkok and Phuket.
