Hotels.com now offers its customers the chance to book an Uber ride from its mobile app.
The integration means that travellers that have booked a stay via Hotels.com will see an Uber button appear on the booking site’s mobile app on their check-in date. Customers can then tap the button, which displays their current location and home address, allowing them to hail an Uber ride.
“Being one of the first OTAs to offer this Uber service is fantastic news,” said Dan Craig, Hotels.com’s senior director of mobile. “Together we’re making it easy for travellers to get to their hotel in a hassle-free way, so they can start their trip sooner.
“We’re always looking for ways to enhance our in-stay mobile offering, so watch this space for more exciting features coming soon.”
The new Uber service is currently available for the Hotels.com Android app and allows Uber bookings in 30 different languages and in all the countries in which Uber operates
