Icelandair will begin flights from Reykjavik (KEF) to Tampa International (TPA) on Wednesday, 6 September 2017.

Tampa Bay, Florida

The new year-round service will operate twice a week departing on Wednesdays and Sundays and returning on Thursdays and Mondays.

“Icelandair is proud to welcome Tampa on board as our latest US gateway. This addition improves our connectivity and gives our UK passengers access to an 18th exciting gateway in North America, via our hub in Reykjavik.”, said Þorsteinn Guðjónsson, general manager of Western Europe for the airline.

Santiago Corrada, CEO of Visit Tampa Bay said: ‘We are delighted to welcome year round twice weekly flights from Icelandair into Tampa Bay, Florida. Not only does the airline offer a great service but also opens our connectivity to more of the UK – our largest overseas market – including Manchester, Glasgow and Heathrow as well as offering more options for our UK travellers from Gatwick. We invite you all to book a flight, come on over and experience Tampa.”

Flights will depart KEF at 17.10 arriving into TPA at 21.00 and will return at 18.55 the following day arriving into KEF at 06.10 + 1 day. This schedule means the flights connect with those from four of the seven UK gateways Icelandair serve including Manchester, Glasgow, Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
