Revamped portal for Oman Air

Oman Air recently unveiled a more user-friendly website. The airline has further expanded the choice for its customers by enhancing the range of booking options and by making its web check-in service even easier. The revamped website showcases more choice of fares for every sector and customers can also view fares for their selection of cabin class, as well as those of a higher cabin class, in a single view.

Grand Millennium launches BENEFIT

The Grand Millennium Dubai recently launched a customer loyalty scheme, aimed at giving regular guests and resident’s access to discounts, special offers and value-added packages. The BENEFIT programme* offers instant discounts of 20% on dining across Toshi (Pan-Asian), the Belgian Beer Café and The Atrium (International Restaurant) and Crystal Bar. The programme also provides incremental benefits, 30% discount on all menu items and packages at jasmine spa among others. In addition, members can enjoy 30% discount on six months and one year Health Club membership and 50% discount on laundry and dry cleaning.

Gulf Air rolls out iPad Electronic Flight Bags

Gulf Air is doing away with paper-based flight material with the launch of its new generation iPad Electronic Flight Bags. This will facilitate the airline’s flight-critical communications while increasing operational efficiency. The new technology helps airline crew perform flight management tasks more efficiently, improving operational performance, reducing printing costs and cutting onboard weight. All Gulf Air pilots are currently undergoing extensive training on the iPad Electronic Flight Bags which will be rolled out across the national carrier’s entire fleet by early August.
