Intrepid Travel joins TIPTO

TIPTO has confirmed Intrepid Travel has joined its organisation of specialist independent tour operators.
Michael Edwards, Intrepid’s UK and Europe managing director, said: “We have seen fantastic growth through independent agents this year and joining TIPTO is the next logical step for us. As a newly-independent business, the trade is key to our success and TIPTO membership will give us the opportunity to engage independent agents even further. We’re excited about helping agents take a slice of the fast-growing and lucrative adventure travel sector.”
TIPTO chairman Zena Hill said: “One month into our 17th year we are delighted to welcome Intrepid Travel in to the TIPTO network. As expert travel providers whospecialise in small groups and adventurous, authentic, travel they will fit into our varied supplier network easily offering our independent agents the opportunity to expand their skills.”
