Indian start-up airline POP is giving its community of supporters the opportunity to have their own names printed on POP’s aircraft.

All you have to do is make sure you’re one of the first 7000 people to sign up for a POP Gold Pass.

People Over Profit (POP) plans to offer non-stop flights between the UK and India’s second cities of Amritsar and Ahmedabad, and in the process it will give a minimum of 51% of its net profits to charities working in the communities it serves in both countries.

To fund its first year of operation, POP is currently running a crowdfunding campaign by offering POP Gold Passes, each priced at £500, with a Gold Seal money back guarantee.

The first 7000 Gold Pass holders will receive a free return ticket to any POP destination. The next 3000 Gold Pass holders will win one free off-peak return seat to any POP destination.

POP Gold Passes are being offered to those who want to become an essential part of the POP family. POP Gold Passes last for five years and entitle the holder to eight VIP benefits, including an extra luggage allowance, priority check in/boarding, extra leg-room seats, complimentary meals and free Wi-Fi, and the opportunity to purchase seats at the lowest fares when released.

In addition to a free ticket, the first 7000 people to buy a POP Gold Pass will also be entitled to a special ninth benefit. The POP logo on the underside of the aircraft will be designed to incorporate 7000 names provided by these Gold Pass holders.

POP’s aim is to commence flights to Amritsar and Ahmedabad later this year (Q4 2016).
