Japan Airlines has teamed up with JTB Corp to offer a series of new Japanese travel packages to overseas visitors.
The new ‘JAL Special Packages’ are designed for individual travellers and include JAL airfares, hotels, bullet train transport and sightseeing tours.
Options range from two-day trips to Tokyo and Osaka, a three-day trip to eastern Hokkaido and a four-day experience at the Sapporo Snow Festival.
“As Japan seeks to boost its standing as a tourist destination, more and more overseas visitors are expected to arrive in coming years,” said JAL president, Yoshiharu Ueki.
“We wish our convenient network and high-quality services can deliver an unforgettable travel experience to overseas customers during their visit in Japan.”
The first four JAL Special Packages are available for booking now for travel from February 2015, and JAL said the range of tours will be “updated continually”.
