Jamie Oliver arrived in Hong Kong this week to announce the launch of his second Italian restaurant in the city.

The first Jamie’s Italian restaurant opened in Causeway Bay last year, and the British chef has now confirmed that a second outlet will open in Tsim Sha Tsui in May.

“Visiting Hong Kong was an amazing experience and it was fantastic to be able to spend time doing what I love most – being in the restaurant amongst the team and really getting to know them,” said Oliver.

“I am incredibly excited to announce that we’ll be opening a second Jamie’s Italian in Harbour City in the not-too-distant future, which will mean that we can bring the friendly, fun, neighbourhood dining experience to more people in Hong Kong. Watch this space.” he added.

The new Harbour City restaurant, which will be situated on the fourth floor of the Ocean Centre, will feature a range of modern Italian dishes, including anti-pasti planks, fresh pastas and pizzas.
