Jazeera Airways’ witness positive operations results

Recent statistics revealed by Jazeera Airways for June 2013 stated that the airline was leading across routes serving Beirut, Amman, Sharm El Sheikh, Assiut, Luxor, Sohag, Dubai and Bahrain.
The June report, which presents market share figures based on official statistics from Kuwait’s Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGCA), showed that the airline on the Kuwait-Amman witnessed a 45% market share. The airline also saw a 22% increase in flown passengers in comparison to the same month last year.
The growth was also witnessed of 45% on the Kuwait-Beirut route, a 16% increase in market share and had a 42% increase in flown passengers on the route in comparison to the same month last year. To Dubai and Bahrain, Jazeera Airways had a 16% market share on both routes in June 2013.
Jazeera Airways saw a 10% increase in flown passengers on the Kuwait-Jeddah route. The airline also closed the month with a 20% market share on the route, reflecting an increase of five percent from the same month last year.
On routes between Kuwait and Egypt, the airline served tourist and expat destinations of Sharm El Sheikh, Assiut, Luxor, and Sohag with a 64%, 55%, 73% and 46% market share respectively. The airline saw an increase of 17% in flown passengers on the Kuwait-Sharm El Sheikh route as compared to the same period last year, an eight percent increase on the Kuwait-Assiut route, a 12% on the Kuwait-Luxor route, and a 34% increase on the Kuwait-Sohag route.
The airline also saw a 17% increase in flown passengers on the Kuwait-Cairo route in June 2013 compared to the same month last year, and grabbed a 30% market share on the route, a four percent increase in market share from the same time last year.
