Jet Airways announces Kozhikode-Dammam

Jet Airways has announced direct flights between Kozhikode and Dammam in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA),
effective 10 June 2014.
The airline will operate a Boeing 737 flight offering Premiere and Economy seats. The flight 9W578 will depart Kozhikode at 2200 and arrive into Dammam at 0000, while on the return leg, 9W577 will leave Dammam at 1020 and land in Kozhikode at 1715.
“Jet Airways is delighted to re-enter the Kozhikode-Gulf market with this non-stop service that will afford its guests the convenience of seamless point-to-point travel. Introduction to this flight is an important landmark in the evolution and emergence of the airline as India’s premier international airline, as we will now operate over 126 daily flights to key international destinations,” said Gaurang Shetty, Senior Vice President of Commercial at Jet Airways.
Kozhikode will be the third destination in Kerala after Kochi and Thiruvanathapuram to have a daily direct service to Dammam. With this addition of this route, Jet Airways will operate eight flights daily from India to KSA.
