Jet boosts domestic routes for festive season

Jet Airways is adding more flights and larger aircraft on a series of domestic routes over the festive season.
From 23 December 2014 to 29 January 2015, the Indian carrier will operate its twin-aisle Airbus A330 services on the Delhi–Bengaluru and Delhi-Chennai sectors.
It will also introduce extra Boeing 737 flights on the Chennai-Kochi, Mumbai-Kolkata and Mumbai–Goa sectors. And the Delhi-Udaipur route will see the addition of more daily ATR services between 23rd December and 31 January.
“As part of our customer centric approach, Jet Airways’ is happy to provide our guests with enhanced travel options this festive season,” said Cramer Ball, Jet’s CEO. “The additional frequencies added into our domestic winter schedule will ensure that our guests are able to travel home for the holiday season and spend quality time with their loved ones at home.
“We are confident that these new flights will prove extremely popular with our guests, ” he added.
Jet currently operates a fleet of 115 aircraft to 75 destinations in India and overseas.
