Jet Airways has introduced a new ‘Zero Penalty Fee’ initiative for changes or cancellations made within 24 hours of booking.
The scheme allows guests to amend or cancel their booking without any penalty fee by using the ‘Manage Booking’ facility on jetairways.com. Any additional amount due to the increase in fare will still be applicable.
The Manage Booking facility can be accessed for bookings up to one hour prior to departure for flights within India and three hours prior to departure for international flights.
“Jet Airways has always led the way, both in operational and service delivery,” said Gaurang Shetty, Jet’s senior vice president of commercial. “Guests can now enjoy peace of mind with the freedom to change or cancel one’s travel itinerary within 24 hours of booking by simply using ‘Manage Booking’ on our website.
“This new initiative is another step towards our customer-centric approach to offer substantial convenience and ease while adding great value to our guests’ overall experience.”
The move forms part of Jet’s increased focus on customer service following its merger with Etihad. Late last year, the airline launched a new advanced in-flight meal booking service and enhanced its in-flight entertainment offerings.
