Singapore-based Jetstar will soon launch flights to Hat Yai, its third destination in Thailand.
Tickets are now on sale for the direct service between Singapore and the southern Thai city, which lies close to the border with Malaysia.
Commencing on 3 November 2017, Jetstar will operate the route four times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays) using an Airbus A320 aircraft. The flight times will differ depending on the day, but all flights feature an evening departure from Singapore.
“The flight, which will take only an hour and 40 minutes, will be the third city in Thailand that Jetstar Asia will fly to,” said Bara Pasupathi, Jetstar Asia’s CEO. “For first time visitors, Hat Yai is also appealing to young travellers and families.”
Jetstar Asia already flies to Bangkok and Phuket, while the airline’s Vietnamese partner, Jetstar Pacific, recently launched a new service to Chiang Mai.
