Jetstar has signed a new interline agreement with Jin Air, the Korean low-cost carrier.

Under the terms of the deal, Jin Air will be able to integrate its network with all four Jetstar airlines, based in Australia, Singapore, Japan and Vietnam.

The agreement is expected to come into force in the third quarter of 2016.

“This agreement with Jetstar Group is the first interline agreement for Jin Air. By acknowledging Jin Air’s potential and growth, Jetstar Group will be able to bring in more Korean customers to its airlines, while simultaneously we can also benefit from the expanded network through connecting with Jetstar Group’s extensive routes,” Jin Air said in a statement.

Jin Air currently flies to several destinations in Jetstar’s network, including Hong Kong, Osaka, Fukuoka and Hanoi. And under the new agreement, passengers will be able to book multi-sector journeys combining the routes of both airlines.
