Kempinski Hotels has mutually agreed to end its management contract of London’s The Stafford Hotel.
The hotel chain will continue to take reservations for the London hotel until 10 September 2014, when it will be renamed The Stafford London.
Staff and management at the hotel have been unaffected by the move.
Kempinski signed up to manage the luxury London hotel in early 2010. It is owned by Britannia Hospitality, a subsidiary of Shire Hotels.
The 105-room Mayfair property went through renovations in 2011 with changes made to its lobby, main house, 24 rooms and restaurant.
