Kempinski will make its debut in Shanghai later this year with the launch of The One Executive Suites.
Set to launch in second half of 2012, The One Executive Suites will be an all-suite hotel and residence in the Jing’an district of central Shanghai. The 244 suites and private residences will range from 62-600m², and include studios, one-, two- or three-bedroom suites, all equipped with kitchens. One presidential suite will also feature a roof garden balcony.
Hotel facilities will include three restaurants and the Tera Wellness Club which includes exercise machines, an indoor swimming pool, spa and a health club.
“The One is created to offer a different option for corporate guests in a city abundant of cookie-cutter luxury hotels: a spacious, home-like space in which to relax, without sacrificing the comfort of a five-star hotel,” said the hotel’s GM, Karina Ansos. “As a Kempinski hotel that is notable for high service standard, we bring our impeccable but highly personalised service to our guests. We are dedicated to creating a home environment for all the guests as well as an enjoyable community for long-term guests.”
Built on the site of the Fengyang Building, The One has 26 levels above ground, two basement parking areas and three annexes.
