Korean Air appoints UK and Ireland regional manager

Korean Air has announced the appointment of Jong Rae Kim as the new Korean Air UK and Ireland regional manager, managing the airline’s UK operation and based at Korean Air’s central London office.
Kim has been with Korean Air since 1996 and has gained valuable experience in various divisions of the company, including a four-year stint as general manager at the regional cargo sales office in Seoul. Kim has been posted overseas previously, spending four years at Korean Air’s regional office in Guangzhou China, in the position of passenger sales manager.
Kim said of his new role: “The UK has one of the world’s most vibrant aviation industries and I feel excited to be leading Korean Air’s operation here. As regional manager my goal is to contribute to build on Korean Air’s UK reputation as the prestigious carrier of choice for travel to Seoul and beyond. There is a dynamic team already in place in London and I look forward to working with them.”
Kim takes over from Ju Min Kim who has returned to Korean Air’s Head Office in Seoul, South Korea.
