Korean Air has announced a major expansion of its network in Europe, following the expansion of its codeshare agreements with Air France and Alitalia.

Effective this week, the Korean national carrier will start placing its ‘KE’ code on Air France’s flights from Paris to Lyon, Toulouse, Barcelona, Madrid, Geneva, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Munich and Stuttgart. It will also codeshare to Morocco’s largest city, Casablanca.

And the airline will also double the frequency of its existing codeshare routes from Paris to Nice and Marseille, from daily to twice daily flights.

And from 4 June, Korean Air will build its codeshare partnership with Alitalia to include the Italian national carrier’s new service from Rome and Seoul, plus new routes from Rome to Milan, Venice, Bologna, Athens, Barcelona, Madrid, Munich, Budapest, Cairo and Casablanca.

Korean Air, Air France and Alitalia are all partners in the SkyTeam alliance.
