LOT Polish Airlines has become the latest European carrier to announce new packaged economy fares on its flights.
The Polish carrier has unveiled two new options based on a business and basic offering for its short and medium-haul flights.
Its premium product, LOT Economy Plus, includes access to an exclusive check-in desk, a travel helpline, priority boarding and baggage claim and a dedicated runway shuttle for some flights at Warsaw Chopin Airport.
Travellers in Economy Plus tickets will also be able to have the LOT Gourmet business class food and drink, with all premium class passengers on long-haul routes to be automatically upgraded to LOT Economy Plus in Europe.
The LOT Economy Simple option offers prices 30% lower than the airline’s standard economy fare with online check-in, carry-on luggage only and an in-flight snack instead of a meal.
“These new offerings will provide customers a higher level of comfort and a broader range of affordable travel options,” said Sebastian Mikosz, CEO, LOT Polish Airlines. “They are part of our strategy to transform LOT into the airline of choice for business and leisure travellers around the globe.”
LOT has already introduced a range of new services in the last year including My Favourite Seat; My Extra Luggage; an extended in-flight entertainment system and a business loyalty reward programme.
