Mandala Airlines boosts Singapore flights

Mandala Airlines has unveiled plans to launch flights from Singapore to two destinations in Indonesia.

Commencing 1 December 2012, the Indonesian low-cost carrier will offer daily flights from Singapore to Bali and Padang, the coastal city in West Sumatra. All flights will operate using Mandala’s Airbus A320 aircraft.

The move marks the latest stage in Mandala’s recovery. Having been grounded for more than a year, the airline relaunched this year following backing from Tiger Airways and has since launched new international routes including Jakarta-Singapore and Jakarta-Bangkok.
