Royal Caribbean International’s Mariner of the Seas cruise ship has arrived in Singapore for its winter season.

The 138,279-ton ship docked at Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore on 10 November 2013, becoming the largest cruise liner to be based in Asian waters.

It will now offer a series of three-, four- and five-night sailings from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi, Penang and Phuket, a seven-night cruise to Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), and an eight-night voyage to Shanghai with calls at HCMC, Xiamen and Hong Kong.

The winter season will also feature festive cruises for Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year.

The 15 passenger-deck, 3,807-passenger Mariner of the Seas features a range of onboard facilities, including an ice-skating rink, full-sized sports court, rock-climbing wall, a three-tier theatre, bars, restaurants and a nightclub.
