More air connectivity for Egypt

Air Arabia strengthened connectivity with Egypt with the launch of non-stop services to Cairo. The inaugural flight, G90620, took off at a special ceremony attended by senior officials from Air Arabia and Egyptian Ambassador to the UAE, HE Ihab Emam Hamouda.
The new service from Sharjah marks Air Arabia’s fourth destination in Egypt and 90th worldwide. Air Arabia now offers three weekly flights to Cairo, catering to both business and leisure travellers.
Flights depart Sharjah International Airport on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, at 13:00 arriving in Cairo International Airport at 15:20. Return flights depart Cairo at 16:00 arriving in Sharjah at 21:20 local time.
Adel Ali, group chief executive officer, Air Arabia, said: “This first flight marks the start of three weekly flights to Cairo, which is a significant destination for us in terms of strengthening connectivity and bilateral ties between Egypt and UAE. The addition of Cairo as our latest destination will benefit tourists wishing to explore the city.”
