The MAX Atria @ Singapore EXPO has opened its doors.
Managed by Singex Venues, the new convention centre has been developed at a cost of SG$55 million (US$44 million) and features 32 column-free rooms with large foyers, a garden courtyard and rooftop space. The 12,700m² convention wing can hold more than 3,500 people in a variety of spaces configured for meetings, conferences, banquets, light exhibitions and product launches.
The Singapore Tourism Board’s annual Tourism Industry Conference, which starts tomorrow (23 March 2012) will be one of the first events held at the new venue.
The venue is accessible via the Expo MRT station, on the Changi airport line.
