Hong Kong residents will soon be offered direct connections to the Pacific island of Saipan.
On 6 July, Hong Kong Airlines will start operating twice weekly flights between HKIA and Saipan, aboard its twin-aisle, 292-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
Flights will depart HKIA every Wednesday and Sunday at 1730 and arrive in Saipan at 0030 the next morning. The return services will run every Monday and Thursday, leaving Saipan at 0200 and arriving back in Hong Kong at 0500.
“To welcome the amazing summer, we are delighted that Hong Kong Airlines is launching this Saipan service, offering even more choices to passengers travelling to tropical islands,” said Li Dianchun, chief commercial officer of Hong Kong Airlines.
“With this new service, Hong Kong Airlines will continue to grow our route network in Asia Pacific region, providing more flexible travel options to passengers from around the world, and further strengthening Hong Kong’s position as one of the world’s major aviation hubs.”
This new service will become the only direct flight between Hong Kong and Saipan.
