A new boutique hotel is to open in London’s Soho under Singaporean hotelier Peng Loh.
The 15-room hotel will be known as One Leicester St and is due to open on 1 May on the site of the former St John Hotel.
It will incorporate a restaurant led by Michelin-star chef Tom Harris who previously oversaw the St John restaurant.
The hotel will join Loh’s Unlisted Collection of six hotels and restaurants that include others in Singapore, Shanghai and a Sydney opening in 2014.
“I’m pleased to be bringing the Unlisted Collection: to Soho and Chinatown. One Leicester Street will offer guests exceptional quality within a relaxed environment. We want the bar and restaurant to become a local hub for the neighbourhood as well as our guests, and look forward to welcoming everyone down to see the new space,” he said.
