To reinforce Jordan’s position as an up-and-coming tourist destination to UK travellers, major hotel groups Hyatt, Jumeirah, Starwood Hotels and Resorts and Ritz Carlton will open nine five-star properties throughout 2018.

The hotels will open in the city of Aqaba – which is undergoing a billion-dollar expansion with the launch of two distinct resorts: Ayla Resort and Saraya Aqaba – and Jordan’s bustling capital city, Amman.

The new developments showcase the growth of tourism in Jordan with UK visitors 9.1 per cent higher between January – August 2017 compared to the same period in 2016.
