Oman Air launched a direct flight between Muscat and Jaaluni airport at Al Wusta Governorate located on the southern coast of Oman. 
The inauguration took place on the sidelines of 42nd National Day celebrations along with HE Yahya bin Said Al Jabri, chairman of the board of the Special Economic Zone Authority in Duqm.
HE Yahya bin Said Al Jabri said: “The direct air route is a result of continuous cooperation and coordination between Special Economic Zone Authority of Duqm, Oman Air and various state agencies working for the development of Duqm.”
The direct services will link Al Wusta governorate with the rest of the Sultanate. Catering to citizens, businessmen and investors, the new service will to save them to five hours of travel time.
