Growing trade and tourism links between Oman and Bangladesh is making the former’s national carrier to deploy more flights in this route, as reported by Times of Oman.

Oman Air will soon launch services to Dhaka from August 2015.

The launch of these new services is part of Oman Air’s programme of expansion and follows the introduction to their network of services to Goa, Singapore, Manila and Jakarta.

The new service will be operated with an A330 aircraft, with four flights per week between Muscat International Airport and Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Meanwhile, another airline of Bangladesh, Regent Airways, is planning to launch direct flights to Dhaka to Muscat and Chittagong to Muscat very soon.
