Vietjet has inaugurated two regular commercial flights linking Vietnam and South Korea following a long hiatus due to the pandemic. The flight VJ962 from Hanoi and the flight VJ862 from Ho Chi Minh City both landed at Incheon International Airport.

The airline will also launch its return regular flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Seoul from 7 October 2020 with one flight on every Wednesday.

With this comeback, the airline also brings new experiences to its passengers with upgraded SkyBoss services and a brand-new Deluxe ticket class throughout its flight network. The new services are expected to bring its passengers safe and enjoyable flights by providing them premium incentives such as flight care insurance, luggage packages, priority check-in/boarding, hot & diverse choices of food and beverages and seat selection option, etc.

All passengers flying between Vietnam and South Korea must submit their proofs of a negative Covid-19 test obtained within three days prior to boarding their flights as well as abiding by compulsory quarantine requirements of the local authorities. As regulated by the South Korean government, flyers from Vietnam to South Korea have to fill in all regulated forms before boarding their flight as well as abiding by compulsory quarantine requirements by the local authorities. Flyers to Vietnam from South Korea can opt to pay for their quarantine at chosen hotel/accommodation facilities such as Holiday Inn, Ibis, etc. with full accommodation services and highest disease prevention standards.
