Outrigger Resorts has become a new member of the Global Hotel Alliance (GHA).
The addition of Hawaii-based beach resort brand is significant for GHA, as it allows it to enter four new markets: Hawaii, Fiji, Guam and Mauritius.
Under the new partnership, Outrigger’s properties are set to benefit from GHA’s shared customer base of more than seven million ‘Discovery’ programme members. Following Outrigger’s full integration with GHA later this year, Discovery members will be rewarded across the Outrigger Resorts portfolio.
“Outrigger’s existing loyal guests return to our hotels because they love the authentic local experience and signature amenities we offer at some of the most iconic beachfront destinations in the world. GHA’s Discovery loyalty programme and distribution network give us access to millions of new, like-minded loyal customers, from similar brands to ours, which will extend our reach within our key feeder markets, and into new markets that are not cost-efficient for us to exploit alone,” said David Carey, president & CEO of Outrigger Enterprises Group.
GHA’s network currently comprises more than 550 hotels and 33 brands, including Alila, Anantara, Kempinski, The Leela, Marco Polo, Pan Pacific, Rixos, Rydges and Viceroy.
