Plateno Hotels to arrive in Boracay

Plateno Hotels Group has unveiled plans to launch a new luxury resort in the Philippines.
The Portofino Ocean’s Edge Resort will launch on June 2016, located on Isla de Carabao, the sister island of Boracay.
The resort will features 44 thatched villas with private terraces and plunge pools, along with a private beach, spa, watersports, a cliff-top bar and restaurant and an outdoor pool.
“We can’t wait to open the resort as an important addition to our growing network of over 20 hotels and resorts in nine countries in Asia,” said Kevin Wallace, Plateno’s managing director for Australasia.
Founded in 2005, Plateno now operates 14 brands, including a large portfolio in China. It recently brought its budget 7 Days Inn hotel brand to Bali.
