Qantas Airways partners with JTB

Qantas Airways recently partnered with Jordan Tourism Board to undertake joint promotional activities in Australia and Jordan. The partnership will also support tourism and trade between the two countries.
The joint activities will include a series of tactical promotions using Qantas sales channels and industry partners in Australia and in Jordan. Opportunities for an Australian media delegation visit to Jordan are also being planned.
Dr Abed Al Razzaq Arabiyat, managing director of JTB said: “The Australian market is one of the important and promising markets for Jordan, especially with regards to MICE, religion, history and culture tourism. This commitment is an important step in boosting tourism and trade between Australia and Jordan.”
Elaborating further Qantas regional general manager for Middle East, Africa, India and South Asia, Rohan Garnett said: “We are pleased to be working with JTB to strengthen the airline’s presence beyond the UAE. Australia and Jordan have enjoyed a warm relationship over many years and we are proud to work with JTB to take the relationship to another level. We look to further enhance tourism and trade opportunities between these two important markets.”
Qantas operates 14 return services per week between Australia and Dubai. Onward connections to Jordan are available with oneworld partner Royal Jordanian and partner airline Emirates.
