Qantas has added new functionality to its mobile site enabling passengers to book domestic and international flights via their mobile phone.
Initially launched in 2008, the Qantas mobile site provides customers with the ability to check-in for domestic flights, receive SMS flight updates and check the status of their flight. Customers are also provided with access to Qantas Club lounge locations, contact numbers for Qantas offices worldwide and timetables for Qantas, QantasLink, Jetstar and codeshare flights.
The search and booking function is available to customers departing Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, UK and US.
Lyell Strambi, CEO of Qantas Domestic commented; “The Qantas mobile site now makes it easier for our customers to book their flights while on the move. We have listened to our customers who want greater convenience in the booking process. They want flexibility to book flights away from their home or office, or on their way to the airport.”
